**If you've been living under a rock and not playing on the modded version of C2, download it here, then proceed with these steps below**

I literally never experience lag now after stumbling upon enabling UAC Virtualization in task manager. This and all other things I do to optimize the performance of the game are listed below:

1) Every time you launch the game you need to do the following:

• Open Task Manager by pressing Win+R and typing taskmgr
• Under the Processes tab, locate and right-click java.exe
• Click on Go to details
• Right-click java.exe and change the priority to Realtime or High if you don't have an option for Realtime
• Right-click java.exe again and click/enable UAC Virtualization <- This is the newly discovered thing that will eliminate lag!

2) To further increase the game's performance I recommend closing all browsers and other applications.

3) Determine if Fullscreen or Windowed mode performs better for you.

4) If you are playing on a laptop make sure it is set for best performance in the battery settings.

5) Have you emptied your Temp folder in a while?? This is proven to increase system performance: C:\Users\Corrosive\AppData\Local\Temp
